Club San Francisco identity

Club San Francisco

2014

Club San Francisco, or more affectionately known as ‘Frisco’, is a night club located in the Red Light District of Amsterdam. Been around for over 50 years, Club San Francisco is an institution in the scene drawing the crowds from the hustler to the LGBT ravers every night. It is said that one would not have visited Amsterdam if they did not visit Club San Francisco. Underground, unorthodox, hedonistic and notorious, but never unabashed; it is the bar for everyone to be just the way and have “the top night of your life”.

The new identity we designed for Club San Francisco takes reference from their recent interior refurbishment that was inspired by 1930s San Francisco, with art deco elements. Combining with its reputation, the new visual identity for Club San Francisco is an expression of a different (and dirty) side of 30s that less commonly thought of.
