(interiorities)(peripheries is a guerilla art project organised by The Substation where creatives were invited to devise site specific artworks within The Substation building. The chosen space was the box office near the front entrance where event brochures, flyers, advertisements and playbills are usually placed. As an intervention, four flyers were created. They were designed and written as satirical and fictitious advertisements with the intention to reveal the exploitative nature of marketing and advertising in relation to specific issues and social phenomenas. Each flyer featured a QR code that would bring visitors to a website where they could continue to explore further and decipher the messages behind the work.
